I DON'T have a macro lens. I got a reverse mount attachment for my camera. Apparently if you hold your lens infront of your camera backwards it becomes a macro lens. So this reverse mount actually holds it to the camera backwards so you can use it as a macro, but its a tad tricky. Its not as easy as attaching and shooting, you have to be the perfect distance from your subject, and I have no control on my f/stop, its 0! Also, I have to have ALOT of light, this was taken in FULL sunlight. I haven't tried it with my flash yet, infact today I took all my pics for this week just b/c its been rainy all week and its supposed to rain the rest of the week. Today was the only sunshine in the forecast.
But the reverse mount is like $15. Its fun to play with even though its difficult. Especially to hold your hands still enough to keep it from being blurred...I keep saying I'm just going to pull out the tripod...but I can't get down on the ground and get the angles I want with that.
Oh, and my ISO always has to be really hi - it was at 2500 for these shots. So there is alot of noise.
I used light room to add a white vinette to them and then upped the contrast a ton. I really like these.
