The Challenege and Myself

My name is Jennifer. I am a 29 year old wife (to my high school sweet heart), mother (of 3 wonderful kids), daughter (to 2 awesome parents), sister (to 13, that includes in-laws), aunt (to 17 adorable kids) and an aspiring photographer. I received my first D-SLR a year and a half ago, have spent almost every spare moment with my camera since then, in classes, reading, practicing, and even having the privilege of being welcomed into the lives of some wonderful families to capture their lives.

What draws me to photography is that you can never learn everything about it because it is constantly changing. In addition to the constant change in equipment and technology, there are endless possibilities of subjects, angles, and post processing choices. I simply could never get bored of it all.

As a challenge to myself, and an effort to never be stagnant in my life as a photographer, I have committed to do a 365 Project the year of 2010. I am following a group that gives themes for each week, so each post will include the day and theme. I have chosen to use themes in an effort to keep myself creative and thoughtful each day. The text in each post will be short and sweet, any more than that could keep me from completing my challenge. (For me, being brief can be a challenge in itself - so maybe doing so will teach me something as well.)
